"Bear Creek Neighborhood Cleans Up Along the Trail"
The Bear Creek Neighborhood Association in St. Petersburg recently did a neighborhood clean-up along the Pinellas Trail.

The photo's from the clean up show what the group accomplished. The dumpster of trash weighted 1.5 tons. They also recycled 77.4 lbs of glass, 16.4 lbs plastic, 11.6 lb aluminum and these totals were not included in the weight of the dumpster. The group had over 52 volunteers which in turn gave them 218 community hours served.  They are well on our way to paying back the decorative lighting grant they were awarded last year. Congratulations to coordinators Mr. & Mrs. Sharpe and all the volunteers for a job well done!
